Eddie Murphy had a child with the singer, and refused to acknowledge the daughter

British pop group The Spice Girls was the most popular female musical group of the nineties and absolutely dominant in the second half of this decade, and although Victoria Beckham, then Addams, was an absolute favorite, right behind her was Melanie Brownbetter known as Mel B.

Melanie is also one of the “spices” whose private life attracted a lot of attention, both during her days in this group and later.

Love with Eddie Murphy ended painfully

She stayed in America, and then in 2006 her relationship with the movie superstar began Eddie Murphy. As it was written, it was love at first sight, and the couple had a passionate relationship, the singer moved into the actor’s villa, his chauffeur drove her around Los Angeles…

He forced her to use his credit card, which she refused, she said. They waited six weeks for intercourse, and then did not get out of bed.

Eddie Murphy wanted nothing to do with them. When asked by reporters about Melania’s pregnancy, he commented:

– We are not together anymore. I don’t know whose child it is until it comes out and the test is done. You shouldn’t jump to conclusions, sir.

She gave birth to Melanie in April 2007 daughter Angel Iris, and the actor did not voluntarily go to establish the performance, but was forced to do so by the court a few months later. DNA testing showed that he is indeed the biological father of little Angel.

Eddie admitted paternity and said that he and Mel had reached an agreement on height seven million dollars.

Years later, the singer tears through her reality show Mel B: It’s A Scary World recalled the difficult moments she went through. She was surprised that Eddie Murphy invited her with the whole family, including Angel, to the premiere of his Shrek movie. As she pointed out, she did not expect that he would reappear in their lives after three and a half years.

– I think it is because I fought so hard for justice already at the beginning of my pregnancy – said the crying singer. – I hung my head in shame because people asked me: “If he is not the father, who is?”, and I knew what I knew.

She explained that she “brought all the pain, pregnant” herself, that the media called her a “sponsor”, she was chased by the paparazzi…

The same year she gave birth, Melanie married Stephen Belafontea well-known manager, and then got married with him daughter Madison 2011. They remained married until 2017, and Mel accused her husband of emotional and physical abuse.
