How difficult it is to fulfill family obligations and at the same time be successful in business, what it is like to be a female DJ in Serbia, are just some of the questions answered by the TV Prva guest.
“I first graduated from the Music Academy and for a while I was involved in modeling. Then I decided to learn to play music, as a hobby, because I always went out to R&B parties, and that’s how the hobby turned into a job,” began Lea.
As he says, the work of a DJ is not at all glamorous, but it is, however, profitable – especially in the Balkans.
Lea, she says, has to organize her time wisely, because she also has an 11-month-old daughter.
“It’s more worthwhile for me to work over one weekend and then have the whole week, from Monday to Friday, free for my daughter,” he says, and adds:
“When he grows up a bit, maybe he will attend some parties, festivals… You can already see that he has a feeling for music, he also likes classics”.
Although it is difficult to balance the job of a DJ with family obligations, Lea says, she manages to achieve everything.
“As a DJ, I was always sleep deprived, but only when I had a child, I realized that I didn’t know anything about sleep deprivation”.
