Actress Christina Hendricks married cinematographer George Bianchini.

The wedding was held at Napoleon’s house in New Orleans, and began with a welcome cocktail, held at the villa on the estate “Soniat House” and lasted for three days.

In this small villa, the newlyweds prepared for the ceremony days before, and the actress revealed that they chose New Orleans because they both have a “special connection with that city.”

“New Orleans is a place I’ve always loved to go to before I met George, and it’s a place he’s always loved to visit even before he met me.” When we started dating, we lived on opposite sides of the country, miles apart, and New Orleans was sort of in the middle. “I feel like we are together in our city, so there was no doubt for us where we would get married,” said the actress.

She also says that the process of preparing the wedding was not easy, since she had to coordinate everything with the filming of the series “Small Town, Big Story”, which was in Ireland.

“I was just telling myself that at the end of the day, it’s important that all our friends and family are together and happy and satisfied.” If nothing else works, I would order us a pizza and we would have a good time,” said Christina.

The bride chose a romantic lace wedding dress for this occasion, and the wedding was officiated by her close friend Shirley Manson, the singer of the band “Garbage”. Christina and George also wrote vows to each other, and the actress does not hide that for her it was one of the most difficult items when organizing the wedding.

They also decided to honor the tradition of New Orleans and, after the ceremony, they paraded through the city with their guests with parasols and umbrellas in their hands.

“It was very exciting for us because I really think Shirley is one of the most extraordinary writers and musicians. “Looking at her and her marriage to her husband, Billy Bush, we realized that’s how we want to function,” Hendrix concluded for “People.”

The menu at the wedding was varied, and 76 guests attended the celebration.

As a reminder, Christina and George started dating in 2020, and got engaged in February 2023.
