Our actor built a house in the countryside, raises pigs, and has his own garden: “It’s not difficult for me to do everything”

Actor Branislav Bane Tomašević with his wife Jelena and their three sons spends quality days and breathes to the fullest in the farm they own in a village near Gornji Milanovac.

– I’m in the village and just as I’m talking to you, children are calling me, shouting: “Lunch!”. Here is a special dimension of life, real life! I have contact with nature, without noise and chaos. I look at my chickens, I let them out into the wild for the first time. I bought 40 chickens and raised them, they are real, wild, the ones that walk around the yard and peck – Bane Tomašević told us recently and explained that he was used to the countryside and work from an early age:

Bane: “I have pigs and sheep”

– I raise animals, I have pigs and sheep too. I have my own garden, tomatoes, cucumber, zucchini. It is not difficult for me to do everything, in my childhood I used to come to the village with my grandmother and the child, I have always liked to stay there. When I’m here there’s no stress at all. As soon as a person sits in the car and drives 30 meters, something happens, immediately some nervousness. It’s different here.

Bane also says that the fact that nature is so polluted is devastating to him:

– People should return to nature, to awaken environmental awareness, to learn to take better care of nature. Everything is so polluted and there is garbage everywhere, we hire children to clean up wild dumps and tidy up all that chaos.

It is known to the public that, in addition to his primary occupation, the actor also started planting cherries. On a couple of occasions, Bane said in public that he started expanding the business from the family estate, which he is the heir to together with his brother.

They built a house in the village

– I planted many cherry trees on the property where my father was born, that is my grandfather’s, as well as my brother’s. We also built a house. Then I acquired several nearby hectares of land and made a plantation of 1,000 cherry trees. My idea is to develop a fruit production business and along the way I am considering all the possibilities for processing and making products from that fruit. I have land ready for another 1,200 cherry trees, and I also have several varieties of plums on the property that were planted earlier – Bane said on one occasion for “Blic”.
