The hit post of the actress (62): “My head hurts from the Montenegrin accents”

Croatian actress Sanja Vejnović is filming a movie in Montenegro, and on her Instagram she joked about the language challenges she faced while reading the script.

Namely, Sanja published a photo in which we see her holding a script in her hands, and in the description of the photo she joked about her Montenegrin accent.

– I’m studying the text, the Montenegrin accents give me a headache – she wrote with a photo of her holding her head and smiling.

By the way, actress Sanja Vejnović was born in 1961 in Zagreb, and she became known to the audience of the former Yugoslavia for the roles of Anđa in the film “Banović Strahinja” (1983) and Ruženjka Hrabalova in the film “Deceptive Summer ’68”.

As a child, Sanja did not dream of a career as an actress, but, following the example of her father who was a judge, she thought about a career as a lawyer.

After high school, Sanja entered the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb, but soon realized that her love was acting, so she soon became a professional actress, and today she attends acting seminars all over the world.

She shot films abroad

Vejnović made films abroad and collaborated with George Clooney, Pierce Brosnan, Nicole Kidman and Penelope Cruz. She acted in almost all Croatian television productions. She was never a member of any theater ensemble.

She met her husband, cinematographer Goran Mećava, with whom she had a son and a daughter, during the filming of the film “About the deceased, everything is beautiful”. She divorced him in 2015, but she worked with him as a producer on the filming of the movie “Pigs”.

In 2012, a film portal declared her the most beautiful woman over 40 years old.
