The 37-year-old from Oklahoma died Saturday night, but the cause of death has not yet been determined. On the same day, Jake exchanged wedding vows with his chosen one, Brenda, at a private estate.
But just a few days later, the happiest day of the bride’s life turned into a nightmare.
“We should be looking at wedding photos and instead I have to choose the clothes to bury my husband in. People shouldn’t be made to feel this much pain. My heart is fickle and all I need is for it to come back. No I can handle this. I need him here.” Brenda wrote right after the tragic event.
The news shocked and saddened the entire Oklahoma music community, and Flint’s longtime manager Cliff Doyle confirmed the sad news.
“He was not only a client, but a dear friend and a very nice man. Everyone loved him. He was a good man and had an amazing sense of humor. He could make everyone laugh and make them feel welcome.” Doyle said.
