For the murder of student Ivana K. (26) in Zvezdara her friend is the suspect JG, Kurir exclusively learns!
His DNA traces were found in the apartment on Zvezdara and for now everything points to the fact that JG, who is an Albanian from Montenegro, is the murderer. The suspected young man, according to the knowledge of the Kurir, accompanied Ivan home on the fateful evening, and after that he began to strangle the girl by covering her nose with one hand and covering her mouth with the other.
On his profile on social networks, probably to remove suspicion, after the murder he said goodbye to Ivana and published joint photos.
– My angel, rest in peace, may the black earth be easy for you. We all belong to Allah and to him we return – he wrote in one of the messages below the joint photo showing how they were preparing to celebrate the New Year.
After the murder, JG went home where he spent the holidays with his family.
According to our knowledge, Ivana and her killer met last year during a hiking trip.
The body of the murdered student was found by brothers on December 24 in a rented apartment on Zvezdara. As she did not answer their phone, they broke down the apartment door and found her on the bed with her pants unbuttoned and her blouse up. They saw bruises on her neck, and she also had injuries to her lip, eye, fingers and forearm.
Two chains were torn from her neck, which were left on the dresser, and a mobile phone with a mask and a leather diary were found next to it. Injuries on her fingers and hands could indicate that she struggled with the killer.
The Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade immediately launched an investigation against unknown persons due to the suspicion that Ivana K. was suffocated by strangulation.
During the hearing, her relatives stated that she did not receive any threats.
A neighbor from the building told Kurir that heard sounds coming from the apartment in which the girl was and that she is sure that she was not alone, and this was later shown by the results of the autopsy and DNA analysis.
After the crime, the killer left the apartment and locked the door behind him with the key he took from the girl and disappeared.
