AT first glance on her social media, Anna Walsh, 39, has it all: beauty, poise, intelligence, a great wardrobe, a great job, beautiful homes in Washington and Cohasset, a husband in love and three beautiful little boys.

Anna Walsh, who shares her love of high heels and fashion on social media as much as her love of family and work, has often posted personal photos to let her followers know how far she’s come in life, both personally and professionally, since early days of growing up in his native Serbia.

The desire for success, the fulfillment of the American dream, were overshadowed by Anna’s sudden disappearance from her home on New Year’s Day.

Her husband Brian Walsh (46) was arrested for obstructing the investigation into her disappearance.

The Serbian consulate announced

Ana’s case has attracted international attention, and the people of Serbia are praying for her safe return, according to a statement issued by the Consulate of Serbia in Washington on Wednesday.

– Her disappearance caused great concern for the Serbian community in the USA, as well as for people in the homeland. The whole of Serbia is following the media reports about Ana’s disappearance and we are all praying together for her safe return, despite the latest dark knowledge that indicates the opposite.

Our hearts go out to her family, and especially to her young children, who deserve to be reunited with their mother – our consulate announced.

– We had the pleasure of meeting Ana in person. She visited the Serbian consulate on several occasions and we remember her as a wonderful lady – the consulate announced.

Anna Walsh’s profession

According to her LinkedIn profile, she graduated in French language and literature from the University of Belgrade.

Ana was born in Belgrade, Serbia, and has two dual citizenships, according to the Serbian consulate.

Ana is a real estate agent by profession and has been rapidly moving towards the position of regional manager in the Washington firm she works for.

She is a young and ambitious woman who has set herself the highest goals on the way to success. According to her profile on LinkedIn, you can see how much she has progressed.

In 2005, he came to the USA and started working seasonally in the catering industry. She worked as a maid and as a waitress in Washington. In 2008, she lives and works in New York, after which she moves to Boston, where she becomes a full-time manager of hotel reservations at a hotel in Lenox, where she met her future husband, Brian Walsh. That’s where they fell in love.

Brian and Anna’s love story

– She always described him as her best friend, they were very, very close, love at first sight – her friend Alyssa Kirby told Boston 25.

They got married in 2016, and Ana posted pictures from the wedding on Instagram. One shows Brian kissing her on the cheek, while Ana simply shines in a white wedding dress with a veil and a Biedermeier in her hand.

In 2010, he accepted the job of assistant manager at the Intercontinental Hotel in Washington, advancing to senior management positions. She transfers to the same hotel but in Boston, and then her career progresses even more.

Her friend Alisa said that Anna and Brian had numerous arguments about when Brian and the children would finally join her in Washington.

– When will I finally be able to be with my children, Brian, she asked him because it was her priority. Alisa added that she last saw her the day before her disappearance. They had dinner and went dancing together.

– Lately they were both in a stressful situation, it was a tense Christmas, but at no point did she show me that she feared for her life or that she felt unsafe with him in the house… She just said that she wanted to be with her all the time with children – said Kirbyeva and burst into tears, unable to hold back her tears.

– It’s terrible, unimaginable, what happened, it’s not fair, it’s not fair that it happened – she concluded.
