Danilo Rosales Diaz, who has been the head of the UNMIK regional office in Mitrovica since 2016, is an associate of the Russian intelligence services. These data for Pristina “Geopost”on condition of anonymity, was given by an international official who works within UNMIK in Pristina.
Danilo Rosales Diaz was very active and influential in the radical actions taken by the Serbs during November and December last year, when barricades were erected in northern municipalities with a Serbian majority, “Geopost” learns.
The photo shows his presence in the courtyard of the police station in North Mitrovica, exactly at the time when the Serbian police officers stepped out of the Kosovo Police, on November 7, 2022.
The photo shows his car, a Toyota with United Nations license plates, while Diaz is talking to individuals, who, according to Geopost’s source, were Serbian police officers.
Data reported by “Geopost” indicate that Danilo Rosales Diaz monitored the situation during the day, assuring the Serbs that he would personally take care of justifying the removal of the uniforms of the Kosovo police in diplomatic circles of the United Nations.
Diaz has been in Kosovo as the head of the UNMIK regional office in Mitrovica since 2016.
Previously, he was an official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nicaragua, with which the Russian Federation has friendly relations.
Díaz was the deputy of Cesar Mercado, Nicaragua’s permanent representative to the United Nations. When Mercado was found dead in his apartment in the Bronx, USA, on September 23, 2010, in what local US police classified as a homicide, Díaz replaced him as Nicaragua’s permanent representative to the United Nations.
