As it turns out, the backpack with personal documents was found during an extensive search for three young men, Miloš Marković (37), Nenad Trivković (35) and Milan Nikolić (36).
Friends, acquaintances, and people of good will who want to help find them as soon as possible joined the search for the missing young men.
The families of the missing once again appeal for help and ask people of good will who have boats, kayaks, drones, but also those who would join the search on foot due to the inaccessible left bank of the Danube on the stretch from Pančevo to Borča, to contact the number 063/720 12 02.
Earlier today, Sofija, the wife of the missing Miloš, told Blic that the families think that the non-swimmer had a vest on, but that he may have panicked.
– They didn’t immediately start swimming after this friend, probably because they didn’t want to leave the non-swimmer there, because maybe he didn’t want to separate himself from the boat and every trace is still being lost – says the wife of the missing Miloš.
Let’s remind, Mane K. (37) was the only one who managed to swim to the shore after the boat overturned on the Danube on Saturday due to strong currents and waves.
According to eyewitnesses, he was scratched and muddy when he reached the nearby brush and asked for help.
– He swam in and out of the river at the height of Krnjača on the left bank of the Danube. He wandered through the bushes over the embankment, saw the light of the houses, came to the first houses, scratched, muddy and reported the accident – says the eyewitness.
Mane K. came out. he also posted pictures from the river and the fishing boat before, so it is assumed that he was a fisherman, and that he was perhaps more experienced on the water, writes Blic.
