The boy turned 14 in March of this year, and on May 3, when going to school after the holidays, he could not even suspect that Kosta Kecmanović, his schoolmate, would decide to kill him along with seven other students and the school guard Dragan Vlahović.

According to Blic, the murdered boy was considered one of the most talented students of the “Vladislav Ribnikar” elementary school in Vračar and was the winner of several awards at national and international music competitions.
He is also the winner of a special award for the performance of a composition “Burgmuller Etude in D major” in 2019. According to Blic, the murdered boy performed at several concerts and participated in an international competition “Virtuosi V4+, we play with a common language”.
– He was an excellent student, he had the highest grades in almost all subjects. In addition to music, he loved languages, mathematics and sports – according to the boy’s website.
As stated, he practiced tennisa he was also involved in photography and by making interesting videos which is underlined by interesting music.
Composed and played the composition
The boy composed and played a composition a month ago “Emotions” with which he won the 28th republican musical creation “Children composers, FEDAMUS 2023.” He started playing the piano at the age of six.
Second prize with a demanding program
At the Republic Competition of Music and Ballet Schools of Serbia in 2022, in the discipline of piano, category II (2009), he won the second prize, presenting himself with a very demanding program:

On social networks, friends and acquaintances say goodbye to the tragically injured young man. In a series of heartbreaking messages they leave, school friends claim that he and Kosta Kecmanović were best friends.
Costa planned the attack for a month
Head of the police department for the city of Belgrade, Veselin Milić stated at the press conference that on May 3, in the early morning hours, they were called by an unknown person who introduced himself as Kosta Kecmanović and said that he had shot several people in the elementary school “Vladislav Ribnikar”.
On this occasion, 8 students, 7 girls and one boy, were killed. Upon arrival at the school, members of the MUP deprived the murderer of his freedom – said Veselin Milić. Kosta Kecmanović planned the massacre for a month. He had a list of children he planned to liquidate.
– He planned this for a long time. He chose today’s date because the history classroom was near the school exit. He had four Molotov cocktails in his bag, and he shot the guard from his backpack right after arriving at school. From the classroom door, he shot the teacher and then the students. After the massacre, he goes outside and shoots the others. He himself admitted that he planned this, and we have a list of the children he planned to liquidate. He worked out a plan for entering and exiting the school himself and set priority targets. He planned exactly how he would liquidate which child – said Milić at the press conference.
