Kosmet should make efforts to implement agreements with Serbia

The Ambassador of Germany in Kosovo and Metohija, Jorn Rode, said that Kosmet should continue its efforts to implement the agreements reached with Serbia and achieve momentum in the talks with Serbia, reports Dukađini.

“Germany provided a lot of help to Kosovo in achieving reforms. Kosovo remains committed to the dialogue facilitated by the EU, but efforts are still needed to implement the agreements reached. The report on Kosovo should remind us all of the reforms that need to be implemented in order for Kosovo to progress in its goal of becoming a member of the EU. Reforms should not only be carried out by the Government, but also by the Parliament”, said Rode, who attended the meeting of the Parliamentary Commission for European Integration.

He also spoke about the lack of cooperation between the position and the opposition, and reminded that due to non-voting of international agreements, Kosovo and Metohija are losing 400 million euros.
