KRAGUJEVAC, BOR – In Kragujevac, the “Hidateka Nišija” Cup in traditional karate was held, organized by the Serbian Traditional Karate-do Federation and Karate Club “Mladost” from Kragujevac. 18 clubs participated in the competition with nearly 200 competitors in more than 300 disciplines. The Sureido Dojo martial arts club from Bor participated with 21 competitors in several disciplines, and finished the competition in third place in the general standings with a total of 34 medals won (14 gold medals, 8 silver and 12 bronze). Gold medals were won by: Lena Nikolić, Milica Rovčanin, Katarina Nikolovski, Emilija Stanijević, Lena Sretenović, Nina Petrović, Rastko Lazarević, Tea Tomić, Petra Lazarević and Dalibor Džunić. The most successful competitor in the Bor team was Emilija Stanijević, who won three gold medals.

In the coming period, Bor karate players will prepare for the Serbian Championship, which will be held in Belgrade at the end of May.
