Agency for Rural Development: Applications until May 13 for 20,000 dinars

Sremska Mitrovica – The Agency for Rural Development of the City of Sremska Mitrovica has published a public call for the award of financial assistance to agricultural producers who suffered damage from the storm that hit the area on July 19, 2023.

Conditions for obtaining financial assistance

In order to be entitled to financial assistance, an agricultural producer (natural or legal entity) must meet the following conditions:

• The damage must be determined by the Working Group for the Assessment of Field Damage formed by the City Council for Agriculture of the City of Sremska Mitrovica.
• The agricultural producer must be the owner or user of the land where the damage occurred.

Also, the agricultural producer must not use the allocated funds of the Agency for Rural Development of the City of Sremska Mitrovica for non-purposeful purposes.

Deadline and method of submitting the request

Requests are submitted in the period from April 22 to May 13, 2024. The necessary documentation is submitted in person or by mail to the address “Rural Development Agency of the City of Sremska Mitrovica”, in the DDOR building, first floor, office no. 20, str. St. Dimitrija no. 6, 22000 Sremska Mitrovica.

Required documentation

Along with the application for financial assistance, it is necessary to submit the following documentation:

1. Scanned ID card (photocopy)
2. Minutes of the Working Group on the damage caused by the storm from July 19, 2023. years
3. Photocopy of current account
4. Photocopy of the Extract from the register of the Agency for Business Registers for Legal Entities
5. Photocopy of proof of ownership of agricultural land in Sremska Mitrovica
6. Photocopy of the Agreement on the lease of agricultural land

Deciding on the claim

The commission will consider the request with the necessary documentation and make a proposal to the acting director on the allocation of financial assistance. The acting director decides on the allocation of financial aid by Decision, and on the proposal of the Commission.

Amount of financial aid

The amount of financial assistance is determined in the amount of 20,000.00 dinars and funds are approved in the order of submission of requests.
