Sremska Mitrovica – According to the pension payment calendar, published by the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance (PIO), the payment of pensions for May will begin on May 7, and all pensions will be paid by May 13.

The Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance (PIO) has published a new calendar of pension payments for May, according to which payments for April will be postponed due to the upcoming holidays.

The reason for this change in the payment calendar is six related non-working days, i.e. holidays, which await us at the beginning of May. Accordingly, the deadlines for the payment of pensions have been moved.

Pensions for employees will be paid from May 10 to 13, while pensions for the self-employed category will be paid on May 7. Pensions for farmers, as well as military pensions, will be paid on May 8. For March, pensions were paid from 10. April, through current accounts, a April 11 to home addresses and at post office counters.

Citizen pensioners are urged to adhere to this new payment schedule and to be patient in view of changes in the payment calendar due to holidays.

The PIO fund will regularly inform pensioners about all the details related to the payment of pensions, in order to avoid possible ambiguities and misunderstandings.

Pensioners are reminded that payments will be made in accordance with the specified dates and that they do not need to come to the branches of the PIO fund before those dates.

Citizens can get additional information about payments through the PIO fund website or through the contact center, where they will receive all the necessary information related to pension payments.
