In her resume published on the “Het Napa” website, she described herself as follows: “My life would not be complete if I were not a mother, and of course, a daughter, a sister, a neighbor, a woman from Subotica, if I did not ride a bicycle, read, swim, and if I didn’t live far from the hustle and bustle of the city, among many trees.”
Marta Feher loved people, travel, beautiful landscapes, but above all she wanted to show our region, the riches of Vojvodina. She loved when she could write about how beautiful our region is, how different people inhabit Vojvodina, how changeable the region and its living world are, and that there is something truly valuable in each individual environment. She believed that the strongest experiences do not require money, but rather curiosity, a will for adventure, a good backpack and waterproof shoes. Because first of all we have to discover, to get to know our place of residence, the people who live here. Driving a car was also her great love, which enabled her to reach the desired place always on the go.
A few years ago, Marta Feher moved from Subotica to Toto’s village, where she and her family formed “Boldog Birktok” (Happy Estate). She had big plans, she talked a lot about herds of domestic animals, about co-workers, colleagues, and her friends rejoiced in her enthusiasm and happiness. Unfortunately, the insidious, devastating disease not only stopped her, but defeated Martha, and so quickly that she did not even have time to fight. Although she tried, because easy surrender was not among her qualities.
