Among them were young folklorists of KUD “Jovan Aćimac” from Kuman.
Dragana Odažin, the expert manager of the Kumanac KUD, says that they participated in this festival for the first time, and about twenty girls and boys, aged ten to 14, presented themselves to the Senča audience with games from Bačka. They say that it was very nice for them, and what they will remember the most is socializing and getting to know their peers.
In addition to young Kumanians, the festival was attended by children from Subotica, Sombor, Kikinda, Stara Pazova, Novi Kneževac, Sremski Karlovac, Sanad, Banatski Veliko Selo, Bajmok, Ostojićevo, as well as guests from Borovo (Croatia) and Saint Peter (Romania).
The organizer of this now traditional festival is Serbian cultural center “Stevan Sremac” from Senta.
