He believes that it actually paved the way for new recognitions of Kosovo because you cannot have a unique case of a non-state, which Kosovo is, participating in international institutions without being recognized in the end. Therefore, this proposal to Bakojani opens the door for Kosovo to enter the European Union and soon be recognized as an independent country.

As he adds, according to his sources, there are even efforts for Kosovo to join NATO before the elections in the USA, that is, before the eventual change of president in America.

It is very naive to think that Bakoyani is telling the truth and that he is acting for the good of the Serbian people in Kosovo, that is totally impossible Pavlos is convinced.

When asked whether the support for Kosovo by four MPs from New Democracy, the ruling party in Greece, at the vote in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe is a sign or a step towards a change in the position of the official Athens regarding the status of Kosovo, Pavlos says that after that vote, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Giorgos Gerapetritis assured public opinion that Greece stands in a position that is against the recognition of Kosovo.

– After the huge noise that followed as a reaction to what Bakoyani did in Strasbourg, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece Giorgos Gerapetritis assured the public opinion a few days ago that Greece stands by its position which is against the recognition of Kosovo. He also said that Greece will abstain from voting at the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe in May on the case of Kosovo. Therefore, Greece has formally announced that it will not support further procedures for the admission of Kosovo. It is true, however, that this is not the maximum that the minister could have done, because it would have been ideal if he had said that Greece would participate in the vote and that he would vote against admission. That would be an honest position, as Spain, Romania, Slovakia and of course Cyprus will do. What he said is, in my view, half way and not the maximum that Greece should do when it comes to Kosovo – says Pavlos.

“Voting Athens in SE a kind of political game”

According to him, the fact that the majority of Greek MPs in the PSSE, who were from the New Democracy, voted for the admission of Kosovo, actually shows that this party is in favor of the admission of Kosovo into the SE.

– Although the Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs said that Greece will abstain on the Committee of Ministers, what New Democracy has done in practice is facilitating the admission of Kosovo. That is why this is a kind of political game, cheating and an attempt to deceive the Greek public opinion on this topic – believes Pavlos.

He reminds that Dora Bakoyani “out of the blue”, just two weeks after her last signal that she would not do it, proposed the admission of Kosovo to the SE.

This unfortunately leads me to suspect that there are at least some very big promises, if not some concrete “trade”, by which she was convinced to give a positive opinion about the admission of Kosovo.because otherwise it doesn’t make any sense why she did it – says Pavlos.

After the PSSE vote that gave a positive opinion for the admission of Kosovo, Bakoyani rejected criticism that a precedent was set for other separatist entities, but Pavlos expressed his fear that there could be a “Kosovization” of Thrace, an area in northeastern Greece.

“Great Albania is coming”

Our interlocutor points out that it is a fact that Pristina is carrying out ethnic cleansing of the Serbian population in Kosovo, which, as he says, leads to a “greater Albania”, which can threaten Greece as well.

Today, about 90,000 Serbs remain in Kosovo, 250,000 of them have left since 1999 and in 2004. The Albanian regime is very well aware that those who remained are old, that with pressures on their rights, young Serbs will go to Belgrade to study when they grow up, Prishtina knows that this population will weaken and fade away. What will happen then when they get rid of all the Serbs who are left in Kosovo? Pristina will unite with Tirana and then comes “greater Albania”. Kosovo is an intermediate step towards “greater Albania” and we have seen maps on which “greater Albania” reaches the area of northwestern Greece. That is why the damage caused by Bakoyani is not only against the Serbian people in Kosovo, but Greece can also suffer the consequences – says Pavlos.

As it indicates, we are in front of huge geopolitical events that no rule of international law will prohibit.

– I will remind you that the bombing of Serbia was carried out against international law and no one forbade it, it happened – concludes Pavlos.
