The Special Envoy of the European Union (EU) for dialogue Miroslav Lajčak expressed today the expectation that the upcoming talks between the main negotiators of Belgrade and Pristina in Brussels will be based on “very concrete ideas”, assessing that during the previous round of dialogue the gap between the parties was reduced.

Lajcak wrote on his Facebook profile, without specifying the date, that talks will continue in Brussels at the level of the main negotiators of Belgrade and Pristina regarding the use of the dinar because there are still some differences between the parties after the previous meeting on April 18.

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petković, who led the delegation from Belgrade during the previous round of dialogue on April 18, said then that the talks will continue this week.

That round of dialogue was dedicated to the decision of the Central Bank of Kosovo to ban the use of the dinar in Kosovo.
