As stated in the aforementioned report, Serbia leads the list of 12 Eastern European nations whose average happiness score has improved by more than 20 percent in the last decade.

In the same time period, Serbia’s economy doubled to $80 billion, and its GDP per capita nearly doubled to $9,538 in current dollars.
The President of the National Assembly, Ana Brnabić, spoke about this during her guest appearance on TV Pink.
– Today, a report on the level of happiness was released, according to which Serbia has made the most progress in the last 10 years and is far in the first place, and this shows that we succeeded in difficult circumstances and continued forward – she said.
