Serbia will be represented by 17 judokas at the European Championships in Zagreb, which will be held from April 25 to 27, the Olympic Committee of Serbia (OCS) announced today on its official website.

As announced on the OKS website, eight of the 17 participants are participants in the “Olympic Categorization – Paris 2024” program – Nemanja Majdov, Aleksandar Kukolj, Strahinja Bunčić, Bojan Došen, Milica Nikolić, Andrea Stojadinov, Marica Perišić and Milica Žabić.

Strahinja Bunčić will compete in the weight category up to 66 kilograms, Nemanja Majdov in the category up to 90 kilograms, while Aleksandar Kukolj and Bojan Došen will compete in the category up to 100 kilograms.

Milica Nikolić and Andrea Stojadinov will defend the colors of Serbia in the category up to 48, Marica Perišić will compete in the category up to 57, while Milica Žabić will compete in the category over 78 kilograms.

In addition to the categorized athletes of the “Olympic Categorization – Paris 2024” program, Serbia will be represented at the European Judo Championship by Filip Jovanovic up to 73 kilograms, Islam Šogenov up to 81 kilograms, Darko Brašnjović up to 90, Igor Vračar – over 100, Nikolina Nišavić up to 52, Anja Obradović up to 63 kg, Jovana Bunčić up to 63 kg, Jovana Čakarević up to 70 kg, Milica Cvijić up to 78 kg.
