Shebeshfok
The weekend resort is located in the vicinity of Sombor, a two-hour drive from Novi Sad. Here you can try an excellent fish stew.
In Šebešfok there are a large number of cottages, log cabins and resorts that possess the wealth of flavors and aromas of this region. Recognizable features of čardi are the music of tambourines and fish specialties. The most popular dish is fish stew with homemade noodles.
Pačir Spa
This spa is famous in Serbia and the region because of its pink color. It is located in the municipality of Bačka Topola and is about 90 kilometers from Novi Sad.
The lake is shallow, so it is also suitable for non-swimmers.
Since 2018, the complex has been further improved and indoor swimming pools have been put into operation. The water is heaven for all those with dermatological problems, especially psoriasis, degenerative rheumatic diseases, and post-injury conditions.
In addition to sunbeds and umbrellas, the complex also has toilets, changing rooms, showers, as well as a section for selling food – mekika, langosh and fries. The daily ticket price is 350 dinars for adults and 250 dinars for children. The swimming pool is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Nestin’s ada
Half an hour to 40 minutes drive from Novi Sad is the village of Neštin in Srem, which belongs to the municipality of Bačka Palanka.
You can get there very easily, you pass Sremska Kamenica, Ledince, Rakovac, Beočin, Čerević, Banoštor, Susek and there you are.
The real wealth of this part of Vojvodina has a lot to offer, namely the beaches on the Danube where there are no crowds, because you need a boat to reach them.
Nestinska ada, rich in greenery, is the right place to enjoy. It has a large sandy beach on its left side, and importantly, it is also uncrowded. In this part, the Danube seems cleaner and the water is still shallow a few tens of meters from the shore.
Banat “Copacabana”
Peskara is a town swimming pool in Zrenjanin. Traveling from Novi Sad, you set out on the road to Zrenjanin, you only have a few turns after Zrenjanin’s “Big” and you are there in less than an hour.
“Serbian Copacabana”, as this area is affectionately called, has an ideal beach for a short vacation. When you’ve had enough of swimming, you can find a hobby by fishing in the “Cepel” carp area.
There are also catering establishments, where you can refresh yourself and seek shelter from the sun.
Obedska bara
An hour from Novi Sad is a nature reserve that represents wild, untouched nature and a refuge for many animals with irresistible landscapes that you will enjoy pricelessly.
In Obedska Bara, you can get to know the flora and fauna first hand. The reserve is one of the few still preserved floodplain areas with many specific features.
Just some of the activities that can be organized are a tour of the educational trails, bird watching from monitoring observatories, rowing boats or catamaran rides, as well as sport and recreational fishing.
There is also a park for recreation with landscaped paths, benches and the possibility of preparing a barbecue.
