The City Table Tennis League was played in the Sports Center in Bor. For 13 years, this sports event has been gathering table tennis lovers of all generations, whose primary motto is socializing and having fun, and the results are here to continue the tradition. The organization is entrusted to the Table Tennis Club Bor, which has about sixty competitors divided into categories from pioneers to seniors and recreational players.
BOR – The 13th City Table Tennis League was played at the “Bobana Momčilović Veličković” Sports Center in Bor. Eight teams participated. In the “play-off” matches, the team “MN” was the most successful, the second was “Bolnička”, while the third place was shared by “Verona” and “Nives”. Cups and medals were distributed to the most successful, and all participants received diplomas. The organizer was the Table Tennis Club Bor, with the help of the city’s Sports Association and the local self-government. By the way, the table tennis players of the Bor club managed to fight for a higher ranking of the competition this season, moving from the Quality League of the Niš region to the Second League of Serbia – South.
“Success came thanks to the sacrifice of young players, above all Stošanović and Vojinović and their coaches. They are the pivots of this, and I hope, future successes of the club. Now we have the obligation to try to improve the organization, the playing staff, as well as the coaching staff at the federal level“, he emphasizes Milorad Spasic President of the Table Tennis Club “Bor”.
The competition in the Second Table Tennis League of Serbia – South starts in September.
