The city committee in Novi Sad of the Freedom and Justice Party made a decision to participate in the upcoming local elections on June 2 in that city, this was confirmed by the chairman of that committee, Vladimir Vrsajkov, for the Nova.rs portal.

“Since a boycott as a more effective way of fighting the SNS regime is unfortunately no longer possible in Novi Sad, the City Committee of the Party of Freedom and Justice in Novi Sad made a decision to participate in the elections and defend the interests of the people of Novi Sad in the City Assembly,” he told the Nova portal. .rs Vladimir Vrsajkov, president of the Novi Sad committee of that party.

He adds that they are entering the election process, and it remains to be seen whether they will finish it.

“We made this difficult decision in order to reconcile the conflicting views and calm the negative emotions of the people of Novi Sad, who clearly said on December 17 that they were in favor of changing the city government and that it would affect the preservation of the hard-won unity of the Novi Sad opposition,” explains Vrsajkov and adds, “we want once again in Novi Sad, we will show what criminal electoral activities the SNS will use to try to stay in power. We will carefully monitor whether there are any shreds of the government’s will to work on fixing the voter list.”

We remind you that the Freedom and Justice Party made a decision to boycott the elections in Belgrade on June 2, but also to leave the possibility to its local committees to make a decision on whether they will participate in the cities and municipalities where the elections are coming up.
