Ivica Dacic: Slovenia’s moves are damaging relations

--

BELGRADE – The First Vice-President of the Government of Serbia and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic said today that our chargé d’affaires at the Embassy of Serbia in Slovenia rejected the allegations of the Ministry of the Interior of Slovenia about the statement of President Aleksandar Vucic, which is why he was invited for an interview.

“It represents an inversion of reality, because instead of Slovenia apologizing to Serbia for violating its territorial integrity by recognizing Kosovo and Metohija and for the United Nations Security Council breaking all the rules of attendance at the sessions by allowing (the president of the temporary Pristina institutions Vjosi) Osmani to bring the alleged victims , without any notification to Serbia about this, which has never happened before in the UN, Slovenian officials are asking for an apology that President Vučić expressed his indignation over such a move that was apparently agreed upon before.

He said that he does not want to remind that Serbia supported the election of Slovenia to the Security Council, and that such moves by Slovenia in international organizations are damaging our bilateral relations.
