“We are open, and without any conditions, to talk with DSHV and other factors of the overall social and political life of Croats in Serbia“, announced DZH.
They emphasized in the statement that they expect an invitation to talks from DSHV.
“As much as we are surprised (if we understood correctly at all) by the DSHV’s invitation to negotiations, it is as much a possible confirmation of our previous efforts to unite all Croats around a common political goal, which is the stronger participation of our compatriots in all spheres of political life in Serbia.“, said DZH.
The holder of the “Focus Republika” list in the recently concluded elections for the new convocation of the Croatian Parliament and the deputy president of the DZH in Subotica, Tomislav Stantić, said at the end of April that this party “achieved its goal, placing second, winning more votes than all the other, worse placed lists , together”.
At that time, he pointed out that this coalition managed to win one seat in the Croatian Parliament in four months after its establishment, and thus become a parliamentary party.
As he stated, the campaign was “marked by impossible conditions and a lack of financial resources”, in relation to their political opponents, whose campaign, he added, was “generously financed with funds from Croatia”.
