--

A children’s bazaar for humanitarian purposes was organized in a separate section of the elementary school “Milivoje Borović” in Kriva Reka. The workshop with sales was conducted within the project Enriched single-shift work.

The completion of the school in Krivorec once again gathered children and visitors with a special occasion, in which the children’s imagination and resourcefulness came to the fore. 52 students from first to fourth grade participated in the preparation of products for the children’s bazaar, 28 from Kriva Reka and 24 from Šljivovica. On the colorful stalls of this interesting market, there were dandelion honey, lemon juice, baskets for Easter eggs, nursery seedlings, ornaments and jewelry, the service was also prepared, and the items also arrived from the Medical School from Užice.

“By the way, we want to encourage humanity in children, to develop the right value system in them, and at the same time we want to develop that entrepreneurial spirit, so that they can make something independently, see how they can earn some money, and how that money can be used later we can redirect it to those who need it more than us and make them happy that way. They like those activities in which they create something, and we all enjoyed it,” says teacher Ljiljana Petrović, who worked with the students, and adds that the children are delighted with the idea of the bazaar being of a humanitarian nature. The collected funds will be directed to help some of the students with a weaker financial situation, and the student parliament will decide on this. The event was accompanied by the principal of “Milivoje Borović” primary school, Ana Ristanović, and the director of Eco Agrar, Marko Marić, and the assistant to the mayor of Čajetina, Marija Jeremic, visited it. The project of enriched one-shift classes involves work after regular classes, which includes homework, special workshops and other activities.
