The rain caused a collapse in traffic, columns of vehicles were moving towards New Belgrade and the left bank of the Danube

The heavy rain that hit Belgrade around 2 p.m. today caused traffic problems. Traffic jams are still present in some locations, while one part of the roads has become passable.

While on the wider outskirts of the city, in Kaludjerica, Leštani and Vinča, the locals had problems with the strong hail. in the central parts of Belgrade, the rain caused a collapse in traffic. As can be seen on the Naxi cameras, traffic is difficult on several city roads.

It moves the slowest in the direction of New Belgrade over the “Gazela” bridge, as well as on the Pančevačko bridge, where vehicles from the direction of Borča and Krnjača are in a column. The situation is similar on other city streets.

There was also a collapse on the Branko Bridge in the direction of the city center. From there, traffic moves slowly towards the Terazij Tunnel.

There are also crowds at Autokomanda, in both directions, as well as towards Dušanovac and Senjak. The congestion also affected the area around Sava square.

The situation is the same in central Belgrade streets, Despot Stefana Boulevard, Revolucije Boulevard, Takovska Street, as well as in Knez Milos.

Three storm epicenters

The storm hit Belgrade today, and according to the radar it is clear that the epicenters of the storm are near the capital and in Obrenovac and Pancevo.
