Young Kumanians at the festival in Senta “I love my own, I respect others”

Under the slogan “I love my own, I respect others”, the 12th children’s folklore festival was held last weekend in Senta, where 16 folklore societies with almost 800 girls and boys from Vojvodina, Croatia and Romania participated.

Among them were the young folklorists of the KUD “Jovan Aćimac” from Kuman. Dragana Odažin, the expert manager of Kumanac KUD, says that they participated in this festival for the first time, and about twenty girls and boys, aged ten to 14, presented themselves to the audience from Bačka with games from Bačka.
