The legendary Mudhoney again in Belgrade

--

After more than nine years, the legendary Mudhoney are returning to Belgrade. On this occasion, they are coming to Dorćol Platz on September 17, on the wings of their latest album “Plastic Eternity”, which was released last year.

Mudhoney is one of those bands whose biography needs to be known in order to better understand the context of an era. In 1988, they released their debut EP “Superfuzz Bigmuff”, one of Kurt Cobain’s favorite albums, for the legendary label Sub Pop.

There is also their first single “Touch Me I’m Sick”, with which they achieved considerable visibility and popularity in the USA. Sonic Youth soon invited them to tour the UK, while in 1989 they released their first album “Mudhoney”. Since then, they have strung together 10 more official releases and cemented their cult status on a global level.

Along with the founders of the band, Mark Arm and Steve Turner, one of the original members, drummer Dan Peters, is still in the band, while Australian Guy Madison has been on bass since 2001.
