Accident on the Belgrade-Novi Sad railway: One person died

At 7:17 p.m. during the traffic of the “Soko” train, which was traveling from Novi Sad to Belgrade, on the left Novi Sad track of the Stara Pazova – Inđija section, the passenger train ran into an unknown person, who was killed on that occasion.

The representatives of the MUP and the Emergency Service were informed.

– Railway traffic between Belgrade and Novi Sad currently runs on only one, right Novi Sad track, but no accidents are expected major traffic disruptions trains between Belgrade and Novi Sad – confirmed from Železnica for “Blic”.

The person who got hurt it was on an open railway, where it is forbidden and dangerous to life.

– The railway infrastructure of Serbia once again appeals and warns that signaling and warning signs are respected on the railway and that one does not cross the railway in places where it is prohibited, because this is the only way to save human lives and prevent accidents – the Railway stated.
