About 270 children on the field did their best to win their team
The Sports Association of the city of Kraljevo, together with the Sports Association of Serbia and the Republic Association for Preschool Sports of Serbia, organized today in the new Hall of Sports in Kraljevo an event called “League of Little Champions”. For the second year in a row, this manifestation brings together a large number of preschoolers from the territory of the city on the Ibar.
– Today, the little champions on the field are children of older educational age, i.e. five- and five-year-olds, about 270 of them from 27 preschool groups – saysMarija Jovanovic Djusicdirector of the Preschool “Olga Jovičić Rita”.
Last year, Kraljevo and the city’s Sports Association were among the 12 cities in Serbia where this competition was organized, while this year preschoolers from 40 cities will compete for the national final.

At the state final in 2023 in Belgrade, two groups of children from Preschool “Olga Jovičić Rita” won two third places in different categories, and the manifestation itself, which was organized at the municipal level, was taken as an example as the best organized manifestation.
Miloš Simovićthe mayor’s assistant for sports said that this manifestation is just the beginning of beautiful similar events that give children the opportunity to become great champions themselves, and Aleksandar Daiševićthe president of the Sports Association of Kraljevo, assessed that it is preschool age that children are infected with the “sports virus”, and that it is in the interest of the Sports Association that as many young people as possible actively engage in sports.
The winners of the competition will advance to the final competition on September 21 at the Sports Fair in Belgrade.
