Completed reconstruction of the National Theater in Subotica, ceremonial opening in May

Igor Mirović, the President of the Provincial Government, announced on his Instagram account that the work on the reconstruction of the National Theater in Subotica has been completed.

– All reconstruction, extension and furnishing works National Theater in Subotica are finished. I was convinced of this during today’s tour of the future temple of culture, which has about 14,500 square meters, and which will soon open its doors to artists and the public – wrote Mirović in the description of the photo.

As he said, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić declared the project of the National Theater in Subotica a project of national importance.

– Mayor Stevan Bakić and I hereby invite him to officially open this magnificent building in May. which, I am sure, will revive the cultural life of this part of Serbia – he added.

– Performance of the regular repertoire will begin in September and we are impatiently waiting for the troupes of the National Theater to move into the new building – concluded Mirović in his post on Instagram.
