Novi Pazar is one of the first cities in Serbia that started collecting and recycling textile waste. On an annual basis, about 60 tons of waste is produced in that city, which until recently was inadequately disposed of, often burned, polluting the air and endangering the environment. However, the situation began to change.

The textile industry is currently the biggest polluter of the environment on the planet, and developed countries are investing more and more in spending on the collection and recycling of this type of waste. Novopazar textile workers gladly accepted the new service of collecting this type of waste because they are aware of how much this way will relieve their business and also protect the environment.
