Sremska Mitrovica – The City Administration for Social Protection and Environmental Protection is organizing a traditional Easter and New Year sales exhibition, which will be held on Friday, April 26, on the terrace of the City’s Tourist Organization starting at 10:30 a.m.
This event aims to give citizens’ associations from the field of social protection the opportunity to present their works and products. The city administration recognized the need to promote their work and products among citizens, and this exhibition represents one of the ways of connecting citizens with non-governmental associations in the field of social protection.
In support of this event, students of BPPinki Elementary School with teacher Zdenko Gospović and Snežana Sladojević will participate in the program, representing “little guests with big hearts”.
The city administration allocated 7,000,000 dinars for this year in order to support the work of social welfare associations. In total, 40 associations were supported for their projects and programs in the field of social protection.
At the exhibition, associations such as “Autism Speaks with the Heart”, “My World – Helping Children with Autism”, Municipal Association for Helping People with Down Syndrome, “MNRO”, Intermunicipal Organization of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Caritas, Children’s Society will present their products. and cerebral palsy of the Srem district, the Association of foster carers, SOŠO Radivoj Popović and the Association of Renal Disabled Sremska Mitrovica.
We invite citizens to visit this exhibition, support the work of the association and find ideal Easter gifts, while at the same time contributing to the important goal of supporting and helping those who need it most.
