Representatives of the opposition parties in Novi Sad agreed tonight that they will participate in the upcoming local elections in that city, Nova.rs learns.
According to our source, it was agreed that all opposition parties will participate in the elections in Novi Sad and that in the following period they will discuss the manner of their participation and columns.
The opposition parties announced this evening with a press release.
“Novi Sad is the place where the progressive regime is breaking down.” All the parties that participated in the coalition ‘Serbia against violence’ – those who are participating and those who are not participating in the elections in Belgrade – the NADA coalition with partners and the Bravo movement, parties and associations of the left and right, agreed on the need to withdraw to the elections in Novi Sad and are confident of victory,” the statement of the opposition in Novi Sad states.
As stated in the announcement, the election results from December of these two coalitions “were better than the Serbian Progressive Party in Novi Sad, which is a sufficient indicator that the citizens want changes”.
“All parties have pledged not to cooperate with SNS in the next mandate, but will strive for a change of government.” Our only goal is not to strengthen local organizations, but to change the government and the system that has been stealing from our citizens and destroying our society for 12 years. Together we will fight against election theft in Novi Sad and together we will replace the corrupt progressive government,” the statement added.
