A pair of storks from Senta got a new and more modern nest after the old nest was demolished

Although for a moment it seemed that there would be no good news, the beautiful ones still arrived from Senta!

Namely, as reported by the Facebook page “Society for the Protection and Study of Birds of Serbia, the workers had to remove the nest of white storks from the concrete pillar in Senta because the wet branches made short circuits and there was a possibility of it catching fire. Because of this step, the storks were left without its nest, but with the help of the Society, a good solution was soon reached.

“Jožef Gergelj, president of the Board of Directors of the Society for the Protection and Study of Birds of Serbia, organized the delivery of a safe nest (platform) which was placed on the same pole, only in a slightly higher and safer place, with the help of the company “Silos Tech”, he writes on Facebook page.

The storks returned after half an hour

In addition to photos showing the entire process – removing the original nest, solving the entire problem and installing a new, safer platform, there are also photos showing that the storks quickly returned to their new nest.

“The storks came to the new nest after only half an hour,” wrote the Society for the Protection and Study of Birds of Serbia.
