Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic spoke today with the former high representative of the European Union for foreign policy and security Catherine Ashton, who pointed out that Serbia has a key role in the region and that Serbia’s membership in the EU is a goal to strive for.
As the Ministry announced, special attention was paid at the meeting to issues related to the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, and Dacic and Ešton agreed that the continuation of the dialogue is the only way that will bring results.
Dacic pointed to Serbia’s commitment to regional cooperation, introducing Catherine Ashton to Serbia’s efforts to preserve peace and stability. (end) vbr/bdr
