The song “Belina” is a combination of the entire musical, spiritual and intellectual experience of the authors Ana Marković (ex Dva Kila Basa) and Ljubiša Jovanović (Ludwig Ludwig, ex Katabazija) who gave birth to these verses based on deep conversations about faith, God and the loss of all religious and moral strongholds of modern man.
The concrete reason for the creation of the song was Ana Marković’s prayer, which slowly turned into verses and melody after 48 hours without sleep during Christmas Day and Christmas. In her loneliness for those brightest Christian holidays, after singing her prayer, she had the experience that the Lord Himself appeared to her through the verses and the melody, and that she is only the conduit of God’s comfort that with Him we are never alone. She took the recording to Ljubiša Jovanović, who, in a similar inspiration, added his parts of the song with incredible speed, and the prayer received a certain counterpoint through the expressed doubt in the form of a curious questioning (aum where are you, aum where are you), and then through enlightenment from his verses , on the basis of which the name of the band Trikirija was born. Trikiria is a candlestick used in religious services, and it is characterized by the fact that it has three candles that symbolize the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

What is characteristic is the fact that the two of them, in their endeavor to realize the song instrumentally, technically and visually, encountered first of all good people and great professionals. All the instruments were played by the masterful Stevan Dobrota (ex Plavo), whose contribution to the song is invaluable, and the song was recorded in the studio of the young artist and producer Nikola Popović, also a multi-instrumentalist, who also gave the song his artistic touch.
For the recording of the video, the members of Trikiria chose Koznik hill as the most appropriate location, traditionally known as Jerina’s town, but historically it was actually the endowment of Prince Lazar, where Despot Lazarević lived and wrote his charter, and whose icon is “accidentally” in the video again touched the stone on which he was walking. The music video was directed by Ljubiša Jovanović, who wanted to convey the multi-layered and ambiguous nature of the song with visual elements. The spirit of medieval Nemanjic Serbia, the eternal theme of female tragic loneliness due to the many wars of the Serbian people, with a special emphasis on the suffering during the First World War, pervade the video, which can also be viewed as a short film about suffering, faith, emotional turmoil due to being torn between harsh reality and deep faith in the divine permeation of the entire individual and collective being of an individual, a member of the Serbian people and, in general, a person who turns to the Lord for help in the most difficult moments of his life.
The video production is signed by the excellent cameraman Goran Lačnjevac, whose commitment to the main idea of the story gave a special color and personnel accent to every symbol that the song is full of. The special guest in the video is young actress Marija Marjanović, who masterfully played the role of the Holy Spirit who appears in moments of emotional and spiritual turmoil of the hero of the story.
After recording the video, the song received all those layers of experience, reflection and feelings of the members of Trikiria, and thus became multi-meaning with a clearly expressed combination of emotional patriotic and spiritual elements. Between the doubt that everything was just a dream and the premonition that God is omnipresent and that he alone remains as the defender of the individual, Serbia and religion, then when everything seems lost, the song “Belina” suggests to the listener basic spiritual and moral values in the modern world which is tinted with heavy and dark colors.
