Improvement of cooperation between republican and local institutions that preserve cultural and historical heritage

As part of cooperation with other institutions and the promotion of its activities to the general public, Pirot was visited yesterday by a delegation from the Institute for Recent History of Serbia, which consisted of: Director Dr. Mile Bjelajac, Dr. Zoran Janjetović, Dr. Vesna Aleksić, Dr. Sanja Petrović Todosijević, Dr. Aleksandar R. Miletić , Dr. Dmitar Tasić and Dr. Aleksandar V. Miletić. The delegation of the Institute first visited the Historical Archives in Pirot, where a working meeting was organized with the aim of presenting the activities of both institutions and improving opportunities for better cooperation through joint projects in the field of historiography, archival research, cultural and educational activities and the popularization of historical science.

The representatives of the Institute visited the Ponišavlja Museum and other sights of Pirot, and presented their publishing and scientific activity to the interested Pirot public in the Ceremonial Hall of the Pirot Gymnasium.
