By 2027, 18 billion euros will be invested in more than 300 projects in Serbia, as part of the “Leap into the Future – Serbia 2027” program, stated today the Minister of Internal and Foreign Trade, Tomislav Momirović. At the conference on real estate and infrastructure development “We are developing the future” organized by Proexpo Serbia, he pointed out that in the next three years, until the start of the EXPO exhibition hosted by Belgrade, Serbia will fight for every project, every investment and every new workplace.

“Through the project Serbia 2020-2027 and the EXPO that awaits us, we have clearly defined how Serbia will grow, which is the most important thing for investors – to see stability and perspective”, he emphasized and added that the EXPO is an opportunity for overall development, including development. area of real estate.

“It will affect the real estate sector by attracting both domestic and foreign investors.” Construction projects that will precede this event are already underway, and they will further modernize our country and improve the quality of life of our citizens,” he said.

He pointed out that Serbia has shown significant economic progress in the last few years, as a result of continuous efforts to improve the business environment, attract foreign investments and implement reforms that contributed to a more efficient market and stable economic growth. “If we look at the growth structure of our economy, which relies on the two most important pillars, investments and exports, we see growth in almost all branches,” he said. He added that in 2023, Serbia achieved record foreign trade goods exchange with the world, mostly with countries with which we have signed free trade agreements.

According to his words, the member countries of the European Union account for about 60 percent of the total exchange, and it is expected that in the years ahead we will see the full effects of the implementation of the Free Trade Agreement with China. “When we add the services sector to the goods exchange, we see that last year Serbia’s total exports were around 41 billion euros, while only 11 or 12 years ago our exports were 11 billion. Our economic policy is aimed at creating more favorable conditions for the life and work of all citizens of Serbia, as well as at improving the infrastructure and various sectors of the economy,” said Momirović, reports Tanjug.

He assessed that strong support for the private sector and large investments in infrastructure are a prerequisite for the economic development of a country and stated that the Government of Serbia will always support domestic entrepreneurs and companies, trying to provide the best conditions for business and development.
