BELGRADE: A good result was recorded two weeks earlier compared to last year, when one million passengers were recorded on May 8.

“The previous year was very successful for us, and the results achieved so far show that the year 2024 is also off to a good start. One million passengers transported in a little less than four months is an exceptional result that we can be proud of,” said Jiri Marek, general manager director of Air Serbia.

Marek said that the company continues its dedicated work on improving services.

“Thank you a million times to all the passengers who put their trust in us. Their satisfaction is our most important priority and accordingly we will continue our dedicated work on improving services,” said the General Director of Air Serbia.

During the summer season, Air Serbia will fly to more than 90 destinations throughout Europe, Asia, Africa and North America in regular and charter traffic.

In addition to the home airport “Nikola Tesla” in Belgrade, the Serbian national airline also flies from the airport “Konstantin Veliki” in Nis and the international airport “Morava” near Kraljevo.

In 2023, the Serbian national airline carried a total of 4.19 million passengers in regular and charter traffic, which is the third best result in its almost 97-year history.

With three international airports in Serbia – Belgrade, as well as Nis and Kraljevo, Air Serbia has realized more than 45,000 flights, i.e. 44 percent more compared to 2022, the airline reminds.
