Interaction, in cooperation with the Office for Youth in Užice, organizes a screening of films from last year’s interaction on the topic of “Brain Drain” at 12:00 in the RIS Hub in Krčagov. After the screenings, a panel discussion will be held with young people and representatives of the Youth Office and other relevant organizations on the topic “What do young people say: leave or stay?”.

During April and May 2024, Interakcija will visit 6 cities and municipalities in Serbia with its Film Tour – Prijepolje, Užice, Požega, Čačak, Novi Pazar and Ivanjica.

Organized by NFC Filmart from Požega, and in cooperation with local partners from these cities, as part of the tour, films shot during last year’s Interaction Camp, on the topic of “Brain Drain”, will be shown. After the film screenings, panel discussions will be held with young people and representatives of the Youth Office and other relevant organizations from the places where the tour is organized.

In Europe, Serbia is at the top of the list in terms of emigration of the young educated population, together with the countries of the Western Balkans. Cities and municipalities in the interior of Serbia face the problem of young people leaving for larger cities or outside the country, which has serious demographic and economic consequences for these areas. With our Tour in 6 places in Serbia, we are re-examining the questions of importance for the life of young people in the interior: How to keep young people in Serbia? How to slow down the process of youth migration? How to fight against the unfavorable consequences of depopulation in the interior of Serbia?
