A group of 17 countries, including Serbiasent a joint statement calling for the immediate release of all hostages held by Hamas in It treads for more than 200 days, it was announced today from the office of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić.

The declaration was signed by Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Thailand, the United Kingdom and the USA.

As it was pointed out, among the hostages are also citizens of their countries, and “the fate of the hostages and the civilian population in Gaza, who are protected by international law, causes concern of the international community.”
