CLS: Income from the sale of tickets in GSP halved – Economy

--

According to information from the Center for Local Self-Government (CLS), the monthly income from the sale of tickets in public transport in Belgrade amounts to about 250 million dinars, while in the system before the President of the Provisional Authority of the City, Aleksandar Šapić, it amounted to over 500 million dinars, CLS director Nikola said today Jovanovic.

“Otherwise, there is no official information about the income from the sale of tickets, which is a kind of scandal and indicates that things are not set on a normal basis,” Jovanović, who is also a former city councilor, said in a written statement.

He pointed out that he is “particularly concerned” about the decline in sales of monthly tickets in the Belgrade City Traffic Company, “which should form the backbone of the system and the basis for revenue planning and financing of public transport.”
