For the co-financing of projects of churches and religious communities, this year the City of Bor allocated close to 5.9 million dinars for five projects out of six and a half million dinars. Today, on that occasion, contracts on the allocation of funds were signed in the City Administration.

BOR – In the City Administration of the City of Bor, Mayor Aleksandar Milikić and the clergy of the “St. George” Orthodox Church signed contracts on co-financing projects of churches and religious communities, for which more funds were allocated this year than before. Of the estimated six and a half million dinars from the city budget, close to 5.9 million dinars have been earmarked for the implementation of five projects.

The largest amount of funds was approved for the project of reconstruction of the facade and roof of the Church of the Ascension in Luka, about 2.3 million dinars. The church municipality of Donja Bela Reka was granted close to one and a half million dinars for the restoration of the church bells and the painting of the interior of the church for two projects, the church in Brestovac received about one million and 350 thousand dinars for the reconstruction of the interior walls and close to 760 thousand for the electrification of the church bells in the church in Slatina.
