Water for 100 households in the vicinity of the new zloty road – RADIO TELEVIZIJA BOR

The expansion of the water supply network in the atar of the largest Bor village, Zlota, continues. Households located along the New Zloty Road will soon receive enough healthy drinking water from a centralized system. It is about laying several kilometers of water pipes and supporting infrastructure, and this important work is financed with funds from the city budget.

ZLOT, BOR – Workers of JKP “Vodovod” Bor are laying six kilometers of water pipes on the stretch from the Zlot region of the VKF to Brestovac. In this way, 100 households will be connected to the water system. 85 million dinars have been allocated from the city budget for this purpose.

“Next year, the construction of the water supply network in the “Devesel” area will begin in Zlot. Plans are being made for the coming year. This construction season will see the completion of the second phase of the construction of the water supply system in Gornjan, followed by the continuation of the expansion of the network in Metovnica, as well as the start of the water supply project in Donja Bela Reka. In parallel with the construction of the water supply system, we are also planning a large project to arrange the complete road infrastructure in Bor and the villages, where almost all sections will be under asphalt in the coming years. This will significantly change the image of this part of Serbia“, said the mayor of Bor Aleksandar Milikic during a tour of the work site.

“The plan of the local self-government is that the quality of life of the citizens in Bor and the villages should be the same. It is important that young people remain living at their hearths, in their village. That they have everything they need for a normal life. To work in the city, but to live where their ancestors lived“, he emphasized Milikic.
