In 2023, Serbia achieved a record foreign trade in goods, and when we add the services sector to the goods exchange, we see that last year Serbia’s total exports were around 41 billion euros, while our exports only 12 years ago were 11 billion euros, he said today Minister of Trade Tomislav Momirović.

“Our country has shown significant economic progress in the last few years. This is the result of our continuous efforts to improve the business environment, attract foreign investments and implement reforms that contributed to a more efficient market and stable economic growth,” said Momirović after the opening of the “Prodexpo Serbia” conference on real estate and infrastructure development.

Momirović emphasized that the upcoming organization of EXPO 2027 in Belgrade will be an exceptional opportunity for the economy of our country to continue growing.

“In addition to the development of infrastructure, trade and expansion of tourist potential, EXPO 2027 will also have a significant impact on the development of our real estate market.” This will further contribute to the attraction of domestic and international investments,” said Momirović and added that by 2027, 18 billion euros will be invested in more than 300 projects in Serbia, as part of the “Leap into the Future – Serbia 2027” program.
