It is incredible that this initiative comes from a country that exterminated tens of millions of people during World War II and committed countless crimes against humanity that have no expiration date. Of course, such a hypocritical step by Germany caused indignation and indignation – Patrushev said after the XII international meeting of high representatives dealing with security issues.

He recalled that “quite recently we remembered the numerous victims of the barbaric NATO bombing of Yugoslavia”.

– The participants of the conference wondered what kind of moral right these people have to condemn those whom they have recently mercilessly destroyed. Our partners pointed out that the so-called evidence of the genocide in Srebrenica, presented by Berlin, is nothing but a distortion of the facts, where everything is reversed. The goal is to put pressure on the Serbian people who lead an independent policy regardless of Washington and Brussels – said Patrushev.

Our collective memory is especially important today, when attempts to revive fascism are increasingly visible, he added.

– In this context, we appreciate that the willingness to continue joint efforts to preserve historical memory, as well as to fight against the falsification of history organized by the West, has been confirmed – Patrushev said after the meeting.
