– At this moment, we know that the session will not take place on May 2, because today we are sending the text of the resolution for revision, if the UN member states have any other proposals on the text. The General Assembly will certainly be after May 6, depending on the schedule of sessions, which we will know on Tuesday. And the mission of BiH to the UN participated in this decision, so that those who need time or those who are ready for a better understanding of the text of the resolution, that as a group of friends and sponsors of the resolution, they are open for further consultations – said Lagumdžija.

“Nothing has been officially announced yet”

Our delegation told “Blic” that nothing official has yet been announced regarding the possible postponement of the vote on the Resolution on Srebrenica.

We remind you that the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, announced today from New York on this occasion.

– Tonight we had a meeting with five European countries that we consider to be possibly friendly and not to vote as ordered. We will continue to work and as soon as we return to Belgrade we will make a plan on how to work in Belgrade. We will invite African and Pacific countries to host them. This is something we can do, to literally fight on a daily basis – said Aleksandar Vučić, President of Serbia from New York where he had consultations with international officials regarding the Resolution on Srebrenica.

As he said, we managed to complicate things and make everything boil, but of course “we can’t win”.

It is the Germans who directly lead the campaign in the United Nations – he stated it Vucic.

“Đurić will stay in New York until May 2”

The President of Serbia revealed the next steps.

Mr. Đurić will stay in New York until May 2. He will have meetings with another 20 countries, especially in the Pacific, from Palau to Papua New Guinea. There is a lot of work left to try to fight, to come out of everything with our heads held high, upright, and dedicate ourselves to the further progress of Serbia – said Vučić from New York.
